KES 7 printed today with a volume of 1,359,300

Another strike early next year. Unless, he is there to help with debt restructuring and audit since he has questions to answer on some decisions made e.g. how these loans were single sourced.

@obiero, you earlier reported that renegotiations of the terms of the loans was over and only a few banks refused? It seems the exercise has never been done.

He already negotiated with 10+ lenders only 3 had initially said no.. Those are the ones being targeted since they form bulk of the KQ creditors
Who are the 3 smart lenders who refused to "reschedule" the loans?

Stocks across the globe are a factor of one thing only, information.. Guys with the early, raw info get the better of others. The delayed withdrawal of Ngunze is good information, so if KQ tanks on Monday I shall send @Kausha 10,000 bob

It a minefield. I wished he had relegated Ngunze back to COO if they really want to keep him, current COO to Director-GS and a new CEO with a vast aviation experience.

No moves for me regarding this stock. Waiting for the outcomes of the board meeting on the 24th of this month.

The only smart move GoK has made in years was appointing MJ as "executive" chairman http://www.businessdaily...442972-6hn5hs/index.html

It is not formal as far as I am concerned. It is only because no one else in KQ executive management can handle this issue. The Seabury report concluded the later.

I think, the Ministry of Transport tasked him to do so. There is a cabinet resolution that was passed to have the agreement renegotiated.

Seabury report was reported in the below DN article.

http://www.nation.co.ke/...05266-pwbo77/index.html

KLM on the other hand, are passing the buck to KQ that they block tickets and they end up not selling at all. They do not respond to KLM. This was highlighted by Prof. Makau Mutua in an article he wrote on the Standard. He approached a KLM manager at AMS and that was the feedback he was given.

Even me at 8 bob naona nikiruka...my ABP is 6 bob...that would be a 33.3% CAP gain in as few days as can be rememered.

I will be back on the first week of August-2017 when the erection fever will be up there and the new entry price is expected to be around 4 bob!

After next year's boarding it will be roller coaster ride to #Bro-Ocholla's clour 99!

I underestimated the MJ Effect. All the bluster from Awori & Mbuvi did nothing for KQ's share price. MJ steps in and WHAM...!

Respect for MJ.

If Naikuni joined a listed firm [even KenRe or I&M] I would look at selling!
Why? Because appointing an incompetent like Naikuni to your board exposes the incompetence of those who put him there!

MJ on the other hand. Wah! Even KQ with all the drama is seeing benefits. KALPA has backed off the strike, KLM is willing to sit & talk and the Lenders will also be happier that Mbuvi no longer calls the shots!

*No, I am still not buying KQ shares. I remain a WB fan. I want to sleep well at night.*

Ngunze refused to join social media.. He has little connection with the pulse in markets. KQ is likely to maintain a loss position full year but look at the share!

Likely to hit 10 billion due to the on-going cancellations & delays denting the reputation and increasing the operating costs. If ticket prices are also revised downwards as per MJ and the demand does not pick up very fast then revenue will remain flat.

I am very worried that Ngunze is being kept courtesy of the big boy. I predict a situation where the pilots will call for another strike early next year.
