Oceanic fish (firm compact meat, straight figure, e.g. the mackerel saltwater fish) is the best... you cannot go wrong having it, anytime and it goes with any accompaniment...

I was surprised to read that Tilapia and nile perch were introduced into Lake Victoria just recently in the 1950s. So what fish were people eating hapo mbeleni?

You cant get nyangumi in L.Victoria...Nyangumi is a sea/ocean fis!

May I add if I make it for you it will be tastiest forever.Add Tuna to the class of oceanic fish to salivate for.
