Today on radio some Mandera politicians like Kerrow are saying the Mandera attacks are due to police corruption. According to him, suspects are being arrested and instead of being interrogated to obtain intelligence, the police are demanding bribes to release them. If true then here is another case where corruption is literally killing Kenyans.

Doesn't it disturb somalis when it is said that they are the only humans living on Planet Earth in AD2016 who are unable to govern themselves? What will it take for them to become capable of managing their affairs?

What will it take for them to evolve and make them capable of managing their affairs? Could they be subhumans incapable of sorting their mess? That said, the only sure way to sort current mess is to have a working strong gov't in Somalia. That way we would deal with any takataka that crosses the border into our country while the somalia govt will equally deal with them on the other side of the border.

The only reason Somalia, Syria, Yemen, Iraq etc have failed to govern themselves is because we have external forces who think they can better manage their affairs... #GetAmisomOutOfSomalia Mark 12:29 Deuteronomy 4:16

RIP. This situation should be contained ASAP, coz it might mean that an "outsider" cant live in Mandera or even travel to mandera. Before going there one should consider giving Bay'ah... What's that and its purpose/meaning? According to Wikipedia, it's something to do with allegiance to some other human, sad. @thuks, you must have dreamed this...

I stand to be collected coz I do not have the basics in Arabic: According to wikipedia, "Bay‘ah (Arabic: بَيْعَة, literally a "sale" or a "commercial transaction"), in Islamic terminology, is an oath of allegiance to a leader. It is known to have been practiced by the Islamic prophet Muhammad." I care!

Anyhow, I am deeply saddened and shocked by this incident and my condolences is with the family. I extend my hearty sympathy to the bereaved families.

The refugees did troop back to Somalia all the way from Europe and there was peace under the Islamic Courts until USA decided that there was some sort of terror risk and requested Ethiopia to invade Somalia... Next came the nightmare of Shabaab and the rest is history Mark 12:29 Deuteronomy 4:16
