Stocks or Land

My nephew, 25 years has a million bob and asked me on the best thing to buy. Shares or land. I could not give an answer before consulting educated wazuans. Considering that the guy doesn't even have a family, what would you advise him to do with that cash...strictly a choice between land or stocks. I thought of telling him to buy shares because we are already in a bear market and prices are depressed, but I also understand that he may need land in future if he starts a family.

Depends on where he's looking to own the land, otherwise with a million he can as well possess both.

Eish! Harsh. But u do agree the guy was smart to invest in himself. Otherwise the father in law would be more comfortable giving him handouts rather than the keys to his kingdom
