The Moroccan king Mohamed VI isn't visiting Kenya during his East African trip (
East African). This, even though Kenya was the first country he called on for support to rejoin the AU (
Daily Nation July 2016).
I have a feeling that it's because of Kenya's bid to get Amina Mohamed the AU chair. If he is seen with us during this trip, other nations may not vote for Amina, especially those Northern ones.
What do you guys think?
If you are a journalist, please, for the sake of Amina Mohamed's job prospects and Kenya's foreign influence, do not publish this.
