it's quite interesting that the moral police of days gone by are now the liberals. Anyway - you and I don't count! the only people that count are 'muricans! who they decide upon. Even they need to justify Trump to themselves.... "we are not electing a pastor... oh we are not electing a sunday school teacher... oh! While the cities are less than 4 percent of the land mass, but 62 percent of the population and easily 99 percent of the popular culture. The recession pounded rural communities, but all the recovery went to the cities. The rate of new businesses opening in rural areas has utterly collapsed.

You mowed your own lawn and fixed your own pipes when they leaked, you hauled your own firewood in your own pickup truck.
Not like those hipsters in their tiny apartments, or "those people" in their public housing projects, waiting for the landlord any time something breaks, knowing if things get too bad they can just pick up and move. When you don't own anything, it's all somebody else's problem. "They probably don't pay taxes, either! Just treating America itself as a subsidized apartment they can trash!"

Let me tell you what likely happened.... pareidolia! good and simple pareidolia! Back in the day, I used to be pro democrat and sincerely believed kura za Al Gore were stolen in Florida. I even cheered inwardly when Bush's motorcade was pelted with eggs on his way to be sworn in. Al Gore, the crazy man with strange theories of climate change ... Ah, life was simpler then.

I didn't say I am better than you - I just said I realised I am not special contrary to what I had been told before. I ate humble pie and I realised... it's all B.S. we tell ourselves to make our lives feel like it has meaning. I actually don't look down on you - how can I? I see an younger and yet naively pompous version of me thinking the same way. It would be self "condesention". About politics? It's a world of interest... of course Politics is a form of war... you throw whatever can stick. Democrats are not nice guys!
