This useless bugger called Duale.. Meanwhile @spikes promised wazua of a massive drop today but we close at KES 4.55 being close to 4% jump in one day.. The share still trades on low value with fair value starting at KES 8 with ceiling being latest issue price of KES 14.. KES 12 can be used to lighten exposure to the faint of heart

Did they consider fifth freedom rights to these destinations from neighboring countries. The fortunes of KQ even in Africa are dwindling. It is due to the fleet reduction that is forcing them to axe these routes and I think more terminations will follow.I thought the reduction in loss will translate to new markets development.Meanwhile ET is landing in Comoros very soon and they will be forced to scale down the additional frequency.

The reduction of capacity to Europe was an ill-informed decision. Intra-Africa traffic numbers are very low and you need transfers from Europe and Asia to supplement. A new management with new way of thinking is required to chart a strategic direction for KQ. With continued stay of Ngunze, this airline will not recover.

Isn't Abuja a high-value destination?
Who flies to Comoros?
Interesting re: Madagascar?

Comoros is actually quite busy...funny for a poor country. Those guys like going to Paris a lot.Their President always uses KQ for official travel which is frequent.

No consultant can help you evaluate the network. Ngunze should not have been left to do this exercise but instead let go.

The level of deliberation among this management is very shallow. All these decisions are totally wrong.

Watch how the competition will react to this news. Ngunze does not have the interest of this airline at heart.

Meanwhile the strike is on. These guys knows exactly that Mbuvi is a very weak manager and responsible for all the bad decisions since 2011.

Quote:
“The attempt to paint Kenya Airways pilots in a negative light by stating that the airline lost Sh200 million as a result of the April industrial action is indeed a diversionary tactic. It must be highlighted that Kenya Airways has lost Sh52 billion in the last two years mainly through bad decision making and corruption,” said its chief executive Paul Gichinga.

Shocking and brutal revelations continue emerging how complex schemes siphon out funds from Kenya Airways.

Wow! http://www.theeastafrica...8194-qtvp0lz/index.html

One of the BEST decisions I made was to bail out of KQ when I stopped trusting the Board/Management. No wonder Naikuni and Mbugua had minimal shares in KQ. They were stealing together with the other managers.

Good luck to anyone who has shares in KQ.

*What a pity that GoK increased its exposure to KQ. Those who approved the bailout should be sacked.*
