You need to know how electoral colleges votes works .let me break it down easy ,you see where you see big reds,that's where rednecks live and they have big big farms. So you find a state like Texas a ranch man has 1000 acres of land by himself ,so on map if you have many of such,means it's just red in color BUT when it comes to voting ,that huge land is only one voter who is the rancher .
You can't compare this with Pennsylvania where land as big as 1000 acres is occupied with 100,000 voters? When it comes to voting that's 100,000 votes verses same size of land in Texas with only one rancher vote!!!

So electoral colleges represent the number of voters per certain area . Florida is a state with full population hence more college votes .so having red red red all over tells nothing hardwood ,it tells you the big farm lands farmers have .

I have always been curious about a certain poll - the 'LA Times/USC Tracking' poll that was like the tiny Oasis of red in an ocean of blue! it has consistently placed Trump as the winner. So I looked it up -
it has a different methodology. is it wrong? I don't know! I have done a couple of surveys in my line of work and I know sampling is everything and I can say the fact that the the stats about Trump making inroads to the African American community... were all 19-Year-Old Illinois Man Is Distorting National Polling Averages as reported by this poll - does not give me confidence. I think we will also learn a lot about polling strategies during this election.
