I see someone is now biting the hand that fed him. Folks ain't loyal. In other news: KK is doing a-OK winning OTS cargoes. *Please fill up at KK. We need the business. KQ & friends to pay cash* Greedy when others are fearful. Very fearful when others are greedy - to paraphrase Warren Buffett

Let Ngunze take a final bow. The KALPA guys tasted the blood of Evanson, Mbugua, Avedi, Yves, Capt Mwangi, Mwendar all in a span of less than a year, now they are back for more. We shall offer them peace of mind by gracefully retiring Ngunze only. Awori must stay but not as Chairman COOP 255,000 ABP 15.85; KQ 544,100 ABP 7.15; MTN 23,800 ABP 5.20

This counter has begun overheating following a notice of strike by pilots. It is terrible as bid cancellations could make a major hit in stock price. John 5:17 But Jesus replied, “My Father is always working, and so am I.”

The god fathers do not know this Company is on the brink of collapse. They are focused on next year's general election and cannot listen to anyone. Meanwhile, the forensic audit shows the both sides of political class are to blame for the mess in KQ. In fact, the current holders are the one trying to save it e.g. they approved the bailout and they are closely monitoring the turnaround which is already yielding fruits as per their understanding. In Kenya, everything is politics.

Since he was elected as the board chair, which route has he negotiated for? He is just a sycophant of political class currently siphoning billions out of KQ to tax havens through SPVs. The truth be told. If he was a serious board chair with a commercial acumen, all those mentioned in the forensic audit preliminary reports should be immediately suspended including Ngunze. His appointment to the boards that he sits on was based on his government connections hence access to key govt. contracts by the likes of Toyota.
http://www.businessdaily...;utm_source=twitterfeed
If Macharia is a serious and competent manager then all the individuals named in that report starting from Ngunze, Diaz and the rest must be suspended immediately. I hope the pilots do not give in to continued piece meal changes. This Airline is bleeding to death.

Chengdu, Chenai, Perth coming soon What will they fly huko? They dont have capacity... unless kites. No serious expansion by KQ to be done any time soon. The delay in putting in place the right people is even messing up the future of the Airline. Ngunze auctioned the planes in the name of turnaround. No plane should have left the fleet, there is enough demand and only the root cause of low uptake of passengers by KQ should have been addressed e.g. pricing including ticketing malpractices by staff and travel agents as identified in the forensic report, poor customer service, etc. Angola was done long before he joined the board.

ICPAK has lost the plot http://ntv.nation.co.ke/...4700-6q749pz/index.html
How is a adoption of bad business plan not a management failure and poor governance? Who takes the fall when KQ adopts a bad business plan. In my mind the senior management and board need to take the fall for such a blunder. Investment philosophy development in progress...
