Mr. Ngunze was previously employed as Group Vice President-Internal Communications by Lafarge SA, a Managing Director by Hima Cement Ltd., Finance Director by Bamburi Cement Co. Ltd., and Audit Manager by Pricewaterhousecoopers. He also served on the board at Mbeya Cement Co. Ltd. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Nairobi. He was at all meetings in regards to project mawingu...the mother being one where TN used curse words infront of all managers accusing them of delaying implementation of the strategy...He can have that rosy CV but its time for him to go...even Ciano was well decorated. Ciano had corruption embedded in his DNA. Similar to Naikuni.. Ngunze on the other hand is clean. Being part of a sinking ship does not mean you did not play your role right.. If assigned to check the sail or engine and I do my part.. Why should I suffer from a coxswain error who decided to go rudderless. Further from human psychology, it is not thinkable that he would hold on upto now, if indeed he was guilty of misdemeanours.. Not with the audit and Senate probe ongoing.. Indeed he could eventually be forced to leave by the mobb but I believe he means well for KQ regardless of whether or not he owns shares in the airline.. Though I would prefer that the CEO hold substantial shares to solidify his passion You are aware whose interests the Ngunzes take care of, right? Hint, the other Ngunze is at CBA. I am fully aware of the same and I believe that his sponsor is incorruptible too Ngunze may take a final bow.. Talks ongoing as at now

Ngunze is not capable of managing this company. The forensic audit findings and the information leaked on the Mckinsey contract are very disturbing. Some of these things were happening just last year (2015) when the Company was at its low point.

Kenya Airways Pilots have issued a 7-day strike notice, they are demanding resignation of Its Chairman Amb. Awori & CEO Mbuvi Ngunze. The Pilots through KALPA say the strike notice will come into force On Tuesday Oct 18th at 5am via twitter. possunt quia posse videntur

No fundamental changes have taken place. Ngunze & Awori have managed to influence the forensic audit. Aircraft acquisition through SPVs has been given a clean bill of health yet it is the hall mark of corruption in KQ. Loans which were single sourced led to the formation of SPVs.

Technical hitches in a rather new fleet points to something bigger as we have stated here. During the AGM, Ngunze whisked away the departure of engineers coupled with budget cuts leading to lack of proper maintenance checks. *The Star may be a gutter press but some articles are credible. It was a very reckless decision to execute it the way it was presented to KQ. A commercial lawyer should have reviewed it thoroughly before him and Alex signed off. The rush to sell the slot and lease out even brand new dreamliners was as a result of the prepayment demanded by Mckinsey. The cat has been let out of the bag. Remember this two ideas just popped up. Only the B777-300ERs were to be leased out.
