I am hearing word of a partnership entered into between CIC and KCB. Does anybody have details on this?

As below;

KCB Group is proud to be signing an agreement with CIC Insurance to manage their Sh1B staff loan portfolio.
In the agreement with CIC Insurance, KCB will handle the assessment and disbursement of staff loans on behalf of the leading micro insurer

Benki ya ushirika couldn't match the offer.
CIC is maybe now opening up to other players and stakeholders instead of tying itself to benki ya ushirika

Cic will now concentrate on its core business.
They will no longer be staff loans issued to staff using cic assets/resources rather if for example a staff wants to take a company loan to buy a house or car they will be told to go to kcb which will advance the particular staff the money.
Win win for both institutions.
