#TeamMafisi http://nairobinews.natio...rned-sh1m-to-passenger/ BTW, has MJ been "elected" to the Board? I thought there were just 2 positions to be filled with 3 candidates i.e. MJ, Thugge and Nyakera. Since the latter 2 are GoK appointees with seats given to MinFin and MinTrans, how will MJ prevail? It's true. Even the ballot paper was misleading because it indicated you select only two. But from the talk it's like we had 3 elective positions. There was a guy who even complained that he was being coerced to vote for the three. Seeing is believing

And then "More than 60 pilots quit national carrier Kenya Airways for greener pastures in rival Middle East airlines in the past year, the company’s management said." http://www.businessdaily...9660-91oshpz/index.html As for the "new" investors... Even Ngunze says that's some time away. If it happens. “We are talking to three or four parties and that is not an exclusive group. We are, however, not at the point of shareholding,” he said. Some hotel in Hanoi spare part probably being taken today...@Obiero...1 word processes...Yves last year had gotten in touch with an Indian based company called ITG they are the ones who handle KLM disruptions and rebook passengers...as usual the idea was turned down same old same old hakuna pesa bla bla bla...funny thing is the cost of 1/4 of the disruptions would have paid for the services of the Indian firm...now you have staff who would have been doing something else running around sorting the issue...disgruntled passengers...crazy losses due to HOTAC...if theye have to send another plane to sort the guys out...the bags will have to be brought later that's how Hanoi works...expenses...expenses....expenses...disruptions are unforeseeable but how you handle them goes a long way into showing what kind of airline you are...the other interesting thing NO director has taken up the matter shows you the calibre of leadership that is in that company.Yves is sorely missed...il repeat again he should have been made MD... possunt quia posse videntur

Now it is evident Ngunze is completely incompetent and that real KQ shafter is Mckinsey. A staggering Kshs 2.3B paid to US Mckinsey in six months. Nonsense! What cost cutting service aka turnaround are these US lunatics offering to KQ that corrupt Kenyans can't afford to sort out themselves? Wait on November 2016 H1 loss is most likely to tripple despite sale of assets cosmetics. 50CENTS is the bottom for this stock. Yves was trying to salvage some pride out of this chaotic institution. Still SMH in wonderment how do yqou pay McKinley $23m to tell you how to do your job?
At KQ the management has failed and should raise their hand and salvage the little left of their reputations by doing the honourable thing. Roho juu antiques that oh we will turn things around is a bit too late and will only damage their careers and reputations. Based on what I have witnessed KQ needs a reboot. Their planes are full on key routes but still not making money? Tells me the management got no clue about their business. Ama they borrow Bwana Ohana.

@Kausha - KQ can buy [with all the cash GoK & Afrexim is giving them] KK for 30bn [20/- a share]. KQ would get a firm that makes 4.5bn in PBT, unencumbered assets, minimal debt and Ohana. No, I do not want a share swap but want cash! No KQ shares for my KK shares! Greedy when others are fearful. Very fearful when others are greedy - to paraphrase Warren Buffett

Finally someone with a brain in KQ finance have leaked the full payment history. I have always said here that Ngunze with his other bunch of directors are incompetent. If nothing is done this Airline is going to collapse. The full year results will shock some of you especially @obiero.

The initiatives will take a very long time to generate revenue yet payments to the consultant falls due very fast hence impacting the alreadfy bad cashflow situation.

I agree with all of negative sentiments. However why is the KQ share rising. Up 24% in 3 weeks COOP 255,000 ABP 15.85; KQ 544,100 ABP 7.15; MTN 23,800 ABP 5.20

Those who bought high yesterday didn't have this info now it has been made public a rapid nosedive is inevitable. John 5:17 But Jesus replied, “My Father is always working, and so am I.”
