Actually, Eid will be on Thus and not Wed. In fact Wed the Muslims will also fast, just like the Jews on their Yom Kappur fasting. So I believe, Wed will be peaceful in Jerusalem.

I'm informed Matiang'i has gazetted Monday, 12th Aug as public holiday as my Muslims brothers and sisters celebrate pilgrimage to Makkah i.e. Hajj.

We have been fasting for last 5 days. Saturday is the day Musa and his people the Israelites escaped from Pharaoh and crossed the sea. This is the same day the Jews still celebrate with Muslims until this day.
