Trump has an excellent chance. Currently Hillary leads him by only two points. When the polls are this close, the election is determined by turnout. And right now Trump supporters are more excited and eager to vote than Hillary.

This is amazing because Trump sometimes behaves like he doesn't even want to win

but remember it's not a popularity vote (not directly anyway) Trump needs to win key states to trump clinton. even having 100% turnout in a place like Texas that was his from the onset does not really help him much. it's a battle towards 270. it's the battle ground states that will matter. it's a winner takes all in most states i.e. getting 49.9% of the Florida vote and having your competitor win by 0.2% gives him the whole 27 electoral college votes.
