Is it true just like @qooler, Mutula Kilonzo Junior scored a D- and India saved him?

Those who used to score 'D's in school usually end up as the bosses of those who used to score 'A's

He is where he is because of his parents wealth otherwise with all that wealth his father had and he scored a D-,he may as well have been a prison warder or a water vendor in Changamwe were it not for his parents wealth.

I think people who get low grades in schools actually end up learning more important and meaningful skills than people who score higher grades. Most students who achieve high grades in school usually do so because of a natural aptitude for quick learning as opposed to any effort on their part. Add to this the praise that comes with this effortless achievement and you end up creating lazy self centered achievers who easily give up at the slightest challenge.

A student who struggles in school gets to understand early on that he is not the best in anything, he gets to know that there are others who are better than him and he therefore learns humility. He is not afraid to seek out others for help and learns to not only be more social but work well in a team. If he is self driven he gets to put effort in learning and sees his grades improve and therefore learns a correlation between effort and achievement. He develops grit and perseverance that will do him a lot of good in real life situations.

If somebody's big talking point in their achievements are the grades they had in school then by all accounts they have not achieved much.

@Mawinder keeps pushing this non existent D-.

So what did he get? You seem to know, share.

Let him check Wikipedia.

Wewe ndio umeupdate? If a D- can produce such a brilliant lawyer then our testing system needs to be checked

Nuff said.

define brilliant! IMHO its easy to confuse brilliance with eloquence.

Impressive intellectual acuteness

Can you really be eloquent with nothing between your ears? I agree that our education and testing system is not an adequate measure of a person's capabilities

oh yes! For example people from these Nairobi schools. I have met my fair share of eloquent fellows who are simply all words but no substance. Umekutana na watu WA St. Mary's hii ya Nairobi?

Like UMK?d'oh! Mboss, aren't you pushing it? Saints is an A level system, sio 8-4-4. Do get a D you must be thoroughly academically challenged or under addictive 'medication'

Actually St Mary's has both systems. The A level system is however much easier.

Given an opportunity most if not all men get weak in the knees, not unique to this family, only that many are not pursued because they are not worth the time.

Men(more so the rich) should style up and consider the consequences of the thrill before unzipping
