Anyone with experience with one of these? Spare parts availability? Any particular issues?

It's built on the same platform as the Lancer and Outlander so most parts are interchangeable and also available in Nairobi. Shop around or if you're feeling wealthy then Simba Colt is your point of reference.

The petrol version is underpowered but otherwise its a capable van.

Thanks man. How about reliability? Does it have petrol compatibilty issues?

It's a generic Japanese car, reliability is not a challenge. The transmission is exceptionally smooth and the engine was built to last.

Lack of power is the only big issue and that is common across the Mitsubishi lineup. If you travel to hilly areas you will really feel it.

Reliability can't tell for now
spares are available
power is great for its class
weak points, that transmission can mess you, can guzzle fuel especially if you are coming from the toyota/nissan equivalent.
strong point, good ground clearance and handles well on most kenyan roads, solid build, just feels different from the equivalents
resale value is very low
once you get one have the transmission checked

That's the name for the Mitsubishi Lancer in the JDM market and a sister car to the Delica mentioned above.

Reliability is good, spares are available locally and the CVT transmission is very smooth. Cons its underpowered compared to similar Toyota models and forget about resale value.
