Wow! An outright flop of an IPO...that's new. In the history of the NSE has there ever been another failure? Even with underwriting it couldn't meet the threshold?

Not even during the previous bears has such an occurrence been witnessed. Both coop(2008) and britam(2011) managed to scrape through despite the headwinds. Foul market weather indeed and quite a marker by the bear.
The main purpose of the stock market is to make fools of as many people as possible.

The regulator needs to very urgently review some of the very stringet requirements. We need our financial market to develop so that we can have a diverse range of financial instruments on offer.
