From my perspective we are not there yet. Bargains will be in plenty later and it'll be difficult choosing what not to buy!

@holycow, how do you like the discounts one year later smile

Should that interest rate cap bill get signed into law, the discounts will be madness!

Crossroad for country's CEO . By signing the voters get amused and more votes. By not signing banks happy esp CBA and more profits.
Just like making a choice between a bugatti and a Lamborghini

The votes are intact whether he signs the bill or note. My take!!!

If he becomes adamant into signing the cap bill RAO will get political strength. Mtamuona kwa jukwaa akisunguka KE nzima whipping up public discontent against Jubilee. RAO atainuka kisiasa kwa vishindo 2007 style!!! Take this observation to bank.

Tuwaache uwongo tafadhali, Raila cannot gain or lose whether Uhuru signs this bill or not.

Only you who has a loan cares whether uhuru signs this bill or not and you do not vote....The rest of the guys who vote do not care whether uhuru votes or not, Infact they have never seen how the bank looks from inside. To them, banking is a reserve for the rich

How many banks operate in rural areas where the real votes are? The few that operate there only serve teaches, police and shopkeepers....What percentage of the poor have loans with banks and or mortgages.

Even if it was true that all or even a majority of kenyans care about the interest rates(which is not), we Kenyans don't vote on issues!!
If Obiero did it, Who Am I?

Huge discounts coming up as more stocks join the trail. Most stocks are left without support as speculators are pulling out en masse with serious injuries/losses! The ground is spooked...Just waiting for the dust to settle to start accumulating.

During bear run a company with heavy institutional investors in its shareholding list is the best buy.
That is why safaricom and Kenya Re are shining. The wanjiku/retail investors have been mopped out and the institutional investors are the ones remaining. They offer price stability and predictability in the share price.
For a company to qualify;
--Consistent dividends
--Zero debts
--Visionary strategic planning
--No disturbing shareholders with manenos like rights issue every now and then
