The route choice ain't bad but personally, i would do Nairobi -Naks-Londiani-Fort Tenan-Muhoroni-Kisumu (I find this route enchanting especially coming down the Nandi hills to Koru) and use the Kisii - Narok route as return. Where would i stay?. I have one favourite place and i never tire going back as they have very friendly staff, friendly prices and is situated in the quiet Milimani neighbourhood. Vittoria Suites!!!......Should you find yourself there, give my regards to the FoM, one Jared Omogi. Tell him you've been referred by Guks Very friendly Jaluo and one who knows his job without doubt . Have they fixed the potholes just before you get to Awasi? Drove there in the rain and it was a nightmare. I was around that area in May this year and the road looked good. I used it on 4th and 9th of this month. There is some effort to cover the pot-holes between Awasi and Muhoroni Sugar Factory albeit with earth. Not so bad, afterall, it's a short distance that has potholes. The bumps along the way are well built (standard and not those mounds we see elsewhere). They actually regulate your speed to around 80KM/h which is good coming downhill. Something else, i am truly in love with the cane farms at the foothills (Around Koru). I find them ever so beautiful and i am always tempted Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.
