interesting that broken link has made to see that facebook uses php, have never thought about it, but interesting , because I thought facebook was a hippie place using one of the many hyped technologies.

facebook stands head and shoulder above other web scripting languages

php has been running php from it's onset... they have had real issues with it but they have done lots and lots of changes to php and also figure it out as they went... lots of work has gone in there... they have HHVM running as the VM for their php (or is it hack - the php like language for HHVM). Lot's of work has gone in their needless to say their 'php' is not 'your php'.

smile

I thought php ni php, even if say the modern kenyan hippies add extra loud exhausts to a landcruiser it still remains a landcruiser from japan. smile

Wow ! Just like the title of this thread, these bastards are getting bolder everyday.

Am still agonising about Mr. Muigai's helpless situation with his wife and daughter. I imagine that's the worst place you can ever find yourself as a man. Thank God these beasts didn't harm the family.

I watch the crime channels a lot on dstv, and am convinced, the gospel of "cooperating with thugs to save your life is not necessarily true". I don't know but between your estate gate @9:00pm and deep in a forest @ 3:00am, where do you have higher chances of escaping alive ?

I would want to hear from a security expert on wazua or someone who has been through such an ordeal. But the thought of being held captive by such beasts with my wife and daughter is too chilling for me.

So the thugs moved the cash from account A to account B, C, D etc, and the bank has all details of the owners of these accounts. This theft doesn't make sense. Unless the money was moved to "fake accounts" and swiftly withdrawn.

On face value this is a story from sub-Standard. So assuming this story is true, then for sure the victim knows his assailants. Otherwise such an unusual transaction should have been flagged by the bank.

This is so sad. What I have seen working is the oldest maxim of reminding these thugs that they do not have a monopoly of violence. From the report, cops won't help. Residents need to join hands and lay a trap for these thugs. Then make them die in a way that sends a message. Works all the time.
