Another GoK-run firm. You know what I think of them.

Just tells you what was happening when Munir Ahmed was the CEO.
Then he tried asset sales to hide the NPL so that proceeds can be used to write off the NPL.

I think we complicate stock investing for nothing. We are not at the company day by day to see how it's run. Then, Why would you invest in a manager / Co owners you can't trust? Why?

Like all gok firms and especially this regime. This is how they will all end up.

KPLC? Why is the share price so low? I hope KCB is spared the curse. Watching from very far

It will be back to KANU days of business of slaughtering the cow.

This bank is a goner

It can be salvaged...how bad was KCB kitambo?

@maka KES 27B NPL for such a small bank is not loose change.. It would take the grace of God and the hand of GoK to save this one. No known business strategy will uplift this thing

can shareholders demand a publish of this list of 27b npls holders

it's possible to steal money and assign it as a npl belonging to a dead person or a person who doesn't know

This is a fraudulent shell game. If GoK was serious about pursuing/ascertaining the culprits a forensic audit would suffice.

I am reading a lot of fear in people's posts. The bear has been very patient and choosy in cracking the whip, nonetheless, it will have its fill and give way to a multi-year bull run.

On the bright side, this bear season offers a good opportunity especially for the banks to clean up their act rather than carry forward with baggage and that includes Kcb. If there is a full blown banking crisis as is looking likely, the better since it guarantees a complete washout.
The main purpose of the stock market is to make fools of as many people as possible.
