I think Safaricom has given up the lower end data market to Orange.Just look at how Orange is so aggresive w/ its marketing of its CDMA internet.I mean u'd expect Safaricom to counter this move w/ an offer of its own but it just continues to buy up companies to provide internet to the high end data market so plainly Safaricom cannot take on Orange in the low end of the data market. It would be a case of too little to late
The fight now will be between Orange and Zain.Whilst Safaricom fight it out with the likes of KDN,Swift kenya and so on.
As for convinience i am yet to read or hear somebody put up a case for Safaricom that its convinient with its restrictive data bundles ? Its just plain clear that Oranges's unlimited internet is the way to go.Unless all you do is just log on to your computer to just browse two or three low quality websites and call it a day.
As for speeds theoretically Safaricom has a fast speed but i really DONOT see the difference in speeds when using my Orange line. Its just fast.
As for me its ORANGE all the way.
