The Good Kenya President His Excellency Uhuru Kenyatta has been in the forefront of encouraging African to trade more among themselves in all business facades and try to reduce double taxation for good originating from African countries. Through his tireless efforts we have seen Kenya ranking top in Africa as a country investing in other African countries and doing business. He has held firm in growing power/energy, infrastructure, commerce, tourism and freedom of movement to create wealth for Africans.
What should President Uhuru do more to position Kenya more higher like encouraging building of more high class hotels rooms(have an investor to build the highest hotel building in Kenya), budget rooms, recreation facilities, accessibility of Towns near cities( Thika, kajiado, Machakos, kiambu) with first class facilities, growing the poor residences(Kibera, Majengo,Mukuru etc)with needed facilities.
One more important thing I would encourage is President having a bigger say in management of Cities( Nairobi,Mombasa and Kisumu) where law can allow him appoint a representative as a Principal Secretary of Kenyan Cities.
Fighting corruption and Crime to top up his agenda.
Add more of what you think he can step up!!!!

Give incentives to factories that hire youth and give them a tax break for 2 years, lease land to them at reduced price to 5 years, and export this products to other african nations, meanwhile slap higher taxes on imports of goods that are manufactured locally.

By now we have only 3 cities though Kisumu is still in process after proposal. The PS is a presidential representative to help put Cities in proper form. The PS is not there to run daily chores but major projects and plans.

Devil-ution should be killed. Shot in broad daylight!!!

But I prefer we kill it legally. A referendum. I hope most people will soon realize they just devolved corruption, institutionalised tribalism and created one hell of an inefficient system as I had stated before they voted for the new constitution!!!

Short live the devolved system!!!

Are there ways to reduce Red Tape (Govt and Private citizens)?
Egypt has so many Hotels just because the govt give free land to invetsors to invest thereby creating employment and other services grow up as a result (Compare Egypt 16 or so Hilton hotels with Kenya 2 or 3)

I support devolved corruption. Can someone tell us where all this devolved corruption money used to go before devolution, its not like the govt was better run than it is now.

Plus central govt corruption is way bigger, can think of Goldenberg, Anglo leasing, NYS Scam etc. Is that what you prefer @MB

Wacha we spread the corruption so everyone gets abit, by the way Devolution is here to stay, move on, there is less to eat at the centre.

May be you can tell us what he has specifically achieved with this "encouragement" of his. It took Magufuli less than 6 months in office to turn Uganda and Rwanda away from us.

I am paying higher taxes now than I was doing before the devil-ution. The question is not where the money was going to. It is where it is coming from. And I have partially answered that. The other source is ridiculously high level of borrowing.

Take a few minutes and review the budgets for 2012 to 2016. Don't even bother with the breakdowns. Just look at the totals. While at it, look at the debt levels!! My kids are actually paying for that extra money in advance - we will be paying this debts for a long long time. Na tayari pesa iko kwa vitambi za mafisi!!!

As a keep on reminding guys, the nose dive of the party is non issue/of their business as long as they support Baba, get nomination certificates, are reelected and continue eating. The rest will sort itself out!!!

Sad Maghufuli is just sweeping a new house he never constructed, by mistakes he will break glasses and the house will look shabby.
A newly wedded woman is said to clean even the roof of the grooms house just to show she will be good forgetting that she will tire fast and have more tasks to do.Imagine electing Francis Atwoli as the President, The next day he would start behaving same like he is a trade Unionist!!!
Back to Intra-African trade, that Maghufuli is yet to see, what should Uhuru push for Can Busia be used as a Centre for Uganda oil(Inland depot) by Kenyans who can re-export the same oil?
