Putting the gimmicks aside, Trump is as pro-establishment as Clinton.

Evidence suggests otherwise. They say, as well rehashed by their so-inclined MSM sources, that he is 'dangerous'. A fib told a thousand times becomes a truth to the average American, like clock work always.

What evidence?

Trump's proposed policies on healthcare, tax reform and global trade are pro-elite.

The other day he rubbished the TTIP that was to flood EU with lower quality stuff as 'rape'. He praised Brexit and compared NAFTA with Mexico.

'Make America Great Again' he says. Well, those who've been running the show don't show that like the criticism of their policies.

Trump is in this for no one but himself - if he was for anyone else, he would be listening to other people. but he does not... including his own people. He is getting baited every day to answer to things. I don't think he can help himself... Kinda reminds me of a scene in the 1998 movie Antz...

He cannot help himself... it's his nature... in the words of Conje... "MDOMO haina governor"...
On the definition of what is "establishment" and what is not - I think for me, from where I stand the establishment is the norm. The political norm. The so called "establishment" politicians are career politicans. Regardless of the side of the floor they are from. The best example in Kenya was in 2008 - swearing in of Mps into parliament after Marende was elected to be the speaker. Remember Ababu? he was not in the establishment. Remember his ravings? "MP of Othaya"?

That was anti establishment speak... Sticking it to 'The MAN'. As one character in the School of rock 'n' roll called it. The only issue is that as soon as we have anti establishment characters coming into power - they become establishment. I remember Obama's demeanor prior to election and the one after swearing in after transition.... he was already in the establishment... he understood what was before him. Anti establishment types are people like Sarah Palin... idealists... establishment types are what we call "experienced" politicians - akina Gumo that followed Ababu during swearing in and did as they were told.

Condemning free trade in the interest of "protecting American jobs" is yet another publicity gimmick. In practice closed trade benefits Trump and his billionaire buddies the most.

You seriously have to do better than that to prove the Donald is a man of the people.

But, but, but, Chemirocha, I was showing he (at least currently) is not a man of the establishment. Surely you are reading what I have not written. For laughs, he kicked out a crying baby in one of his campaigns, so he is anti-baby. Lol.

We are looking at trump as if he has been a politician or in public service before, as for clinton you can label her as establishment or not, or a peoples person or not, but trump is just a 'mono' in this political maneno, and for him we have no past experience to base assumptions on.

Whats worse for him is that the liberals and majority if not all media outlets seem to not like him at all based sorely on what comes out of his mouth, but the good book advises against judging by talks alone.
the best we can do for him is to check the kind of people he employs in his companies, how he pays them, how he treats them, the kind of business partners he prefers e.t.c, otherwise I don't believe you can remain a billionaire by acting out what trump speaks and I guess he is just speaking like that to get media airtime.

Trump is a parody for the greed and lies of the US political system. Even with the madness and excess, Trump is a status quo candidate.

Actually... I am not a billionaire but billionaires say he is not a good business man either. He started off with a "small loan" of 1 million dollars plus lie 40M in inheritance from his dad - a multimillionaire New York real estate developer. It's claimed that if he had that 1M and did nothing - he would have been worth more . He has left a trail of bankruptcies behind him, complaining people. He says A and does B. His ties and stuff are made in China. He does not want to come clean on how much he is really worth. it's quite possible that he is not a billionaire.... some real billionaires are doubting his claim... not sure how much debt he has...e.t.c. He has not shared his tax returns. I have not heard anyone question Warren Buffet for not being a good investor, or Bill gates for not being a good technology business man. But Trump.... many people with more than 9 digits of dollars of worth claim he is questionable. But whatever it is he has - is still a load more than we do Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly

Why so much hate against Trump? No matter how much mud we throw at him on this forum it will be up to Americans to decide whether to choose him as their leader or not. So, screaming one's lungs out against his candidature on this forum is useless and fruitless.

Trump is just proof that the GOP is a party of imbeciles.

He is in over his head but keeps digging.

Plus Warren Bufffet expressed reservations about his character which normally is enuf for me. The guy is a lemon.
