Good idea to hear they will scale down some of the projects. That will give them time to recoup the current investments and to avoid surplus power that will make tariffs expensive.
Shareholders will also get a breather

In ten years,Aggreko earned 10.9 billion while kengen earned 889 million only. That means Aggreko was earning a monthly average of 1 billion.
Kengen should make sure that they earn the same amount aggreko was earning for the change of ownership to bring value.Of course that depends if the gas turbine kengen is setting up their in place of Aggreko will generate the same energy.Anyway this is a step in the right direction as its an opportunity to grow revenue.

889m is a good commission to earn without investing in plant and fuel.

KENGEN......

Watch out AUG/SEPT/OCT
You will get it far cheaper than 6.55 bob rights price.
It will surely cave in to the rampaging bears.
For those that can wait till Q1/Q2 2017 it will even be cheaper (Election year)

So..if I didn't take up my rights in the recent kengen rights offer, but then I buy the same amount of shares in the market even at lower price,am I still a diluted share holder?..?

if the lower cost of buying you are talking about will cover all your transaction cost and be better than a person buying at 6.55 paying no transaction cost then you will have succeeded countering your dilution

KenGen traded at between 6.40 and 6.60 today. When one calculates the time value of money, those who paid cash for the Rights are already losing money.

Why 4.80?

My Reasons as follows:
1.My entry price was kshs 6.80
2.My current average buying price is kshs 7.00
3.So if i load again at 4.80,i will have averaged my buying down to 6.30
