[quote=streetwise]Very scary indeed , so the guy should have hired thugs to fix the policeman instead of following the law. That way he may have been alive today[/

The family can still hire a hit man to eliminate the said policeman

A police officer had personal problem with our football club Chairman. One day he picked him in broad daylight, and we have never seen him again ever since

its incidents like this and how they are handled that remind you kenya is still a third world country in cause you had any illusion otherwise.
All my friends are heathens, take it slow. Wait for them to ask you who you know. Please don't make any sudden moves.

Its really sad. These are not ordinary thugs. That someone could cause so much suffering over a fellow human being is just beyond the comprehension of my simple mind. This is so so sad.

Have seen a photo of the lawyer with his son( less than one year old), and it's messed up my weekend.

Seasoned lawyers who battled moi regime like khaminwa and muite are saying this is a first even in kenya. That even during the worst days of nyayo era, the worst that could happen to a lawyer would be detention without trial.

Such a gruesome murder where you even cut off someone's fingers and gorge out their eyes is a new low. But we made our bed, let's lie n it quietly.

We cheered when execution squads started eliminating mungiki, Muslims, suspected thugs, cord demonstrators. We fed the beast with blood, now it's grown into a monster and it was only a matter of time before it comes back for our kids.

Just read this story on SN. Too too sad.

The murderers ensured the last trail of the victims' phones were in Kawangware and Busia.

Willie left a note at the cells...

But let's not politicise. Those involved should face the law but that doesn't mean the murders were authorised by top police command

Whenever I see people on wazua posting about jow happy they are cops have taken care of someone I know I'm talking to kids. The cops in kenya are just death squads. And you can take me to any jail or river you feel like. Just terrible.

Very sad story that photo of lawyer and his son is gut wrenching. The savagery visited on those 3 is shocking. What would possess a human being to act like that? What is more shocking about this story is that there were other bodies of smartly dressed at Naivasha morgue which turned out not to be the 3 missing and that story just died.

We've bred a culture of impunity that you can make a case go away by taking care or taking out witnesses. At this rate we'll end up like Mexico or columbia where Escobar blew up the supreme court to destroy evidence. All it takes for evil to prosper is for good men to keep quiet.

Kudos to LSK for standing together and standing up to the culture of impunity

which means he was in police custody before being found dead, if this investigation is botched then guys we are back beyond Nyayo.

PRESS STATEMENT 01072016
Today marks one of the darkest day in the history of the legal profession in Kenya. The brutal murder of Lawyer Willie Kimani, Josephat Mwendwa and Joseph Muiruri by the Kenyan Police demonstrates a clear abuse of police powers.
The legal profession as well as the Constitution of Kenya are under attack. Those charged with the responsibility of providing security to Kenyans have turned upon us and become our greatest tormentors. Following these developments it has become necessary to draw the line on these extra-judicial killings at the hands of Police death squads and the Law Society of Kenya therefore demands the following;
The immediate closure of the Syokimau Administration Police Camp, as well as the immediate suspension and disbarment of all officers posted at the camp
The immediate resignation of the Inspector General of Police Mr. Joseph Boinnet, the Deputy Inspector General Administration Police Mr. Samuel Arachi, and the stepping aside of the Cabinet Secretary Ministry of Interior Mr. Jospeh Nkaiserry, Failure to which the Law Society of Kenya shall petition for their removal.
To the members of the legal profession, the Council calls on all Advocates to down their tools in all courts and tribunals across the country for the whole of next week so as to participate in and concentrate on the pursuit of justice in Miscellaneous Criminal Case No. 244/2016, Law Society of Kenya & 3 others vs. Attorney General & 3 others, Scheduled for hearing on the 5th of July 2016 and to reflect on the events that have occurred.
The Council calls upon all the Advocates to continue donning the purple ribbon during this time.
The Law Society of Kenya will raise funds to meet the burial expenses of all the deceased persons and will provide a pay bill number through which members can contribute.
The LSK takes this opportunity to once again condole with friends and Family of our three departed country men and to assure them and the country at large that we shall do all it takes to ensure that we find justice for them. May God rest our brothers souls in peace.

@maka, just seen something on Twitter. The cops in custody are not the ones who were being investigated.

The grand mullah and many others are pushing a theory that the trio were executed by the cid.

Read that but what would be the motivation for the CID to do such a thing?
