What Islam needs to do is go through a reformation.... watulize boli kidogo! sio wakwanza na hawatakuwa wa mwisho. Even those buggers in Myanmar are killing people ovyo ovyo.

The Kurds are fighting ISIS in Syria. Turkey has been effectively helping ISIS by bombing the Kurds in Syria. Yet ISIS attacked them anyway. Goes to show you that terrorists are not rational.

Read history and you will realize that Christians have killed far more people in trying to spread the gospel than the rest of all religions.

I argued in a different thread that Islam is only undergoing transformation/evolution just the same way Christianity did.There was a time where Christians (crusaders) were killing anybody who was not a christian with blessings from Pope(s).Catholics and protestants have killed each other over power to rule.

The only way to do away with violence and terrorism is to do away with power and religion for they are interlinked.

Baas you have captured the reality very well.
The Church was also the State - remember the Crusades,where the Pope himuselufu called for military action and later teh Spanish Inquisition.

If you notice some of the cruelest human torture types were during the middle ages, exactly the cruelty ISIS is engaging in currently.

But in the same breath it also suggests extremist Islam is currently where Xstianity was in the middle ages?

Surely all this is irrelevant, the time mainstream Christianity was advocating violence has to be accepted as way in the past, over 500 years ago, people are different, perceptions are different, moral standards are different. We know better.

The white supremacist still advocate hate based on strong christian beliefs, but this are just outliers

Same as ISIS, Alshabaab, Al qaeda, boko haram etc

I hope they are, however, based on their geographical spread, impact and influence, its difficult to convince a visitor from Mars that they are not part of mainstream Islam.

If Turkey is sunni and Daesh is sunni;
If Turkey benefits from stolen oil from syria;
If Turkey supports the Daesh militarily by training and arming them;
How can Daesh bite the hand that feeds it?
I highly doubt Turkey's claims that isil attacked them
Daesh has never claimed the attacks,
I think is a pretext for turkey to make us feel sorry for it and allow them to enter the war on isis side in syria and bomb the kurds and other opponents

Why haven't I ever heard of radical Christians who go around bombing people for the sake of Christianity? I'm not attacking any religion, I'm just wondering! !!
