Brexit voters and pro-Remain members of the electorate who failed to turn out because they were confident of the win had been calling in.

then you realise people are just people... voter education is for everyone.
Just shows that voters are dumb the world over. In old Britain not everyone had the right to vote. Only those who owned property aka landowners could vote and therefore they knew that their decision at the ballot would greatly affect them. This universal suffrage was a big mistake. Even in kenya we should change the rules and say only those who are worth at least 1m and have a university degree can vote.Otherwise how do you allow a poor jobless semi-literate kibera resident to determine the destiny of a middle-class lavingtoner at the ballot? That's total madness.
actually what you are proposing (meritocracy) has been tried before. it didn't work! the premise of universal suffrage is great.. it forces the bourgeoisie to stoop low in an attempt to lift the people with the votes get on board with their program. in the longer run this improves society and does not make the class differences that pronounced and reduces the sense of entitlement that clouds the bourgeoisie thinking.

Yeah. This is what I am talking about. We should review our voting laws. And do it the way the UK and US used to do it. http://www.bbc.co.uk/bit...racy/changes/revision/1/ http://mediamatters.org/...have-land-you-did/145797

Someone is suggesting that Texas does an exit if she becomes president.
the united states is a union that you voluntary join but has no exit clause! Texas has always toyed with that idea but - it's not even possible.
Besides the ani-Clinton talk which could be sarcasm, after Brexit, folk from Texas want to renew their efforts to be an independent country via whatever avenue. C&P The matter of Texas has bubbled up from time to time since the Civil War, in part due to the state’s unique history. Texas declared independence from Mexico in 1836 and was a sovereign country for a decade before becoming annexed by the United States. But despite the popular belief that the current Texas constitution gives the state the right to pull out of the United States at will, the Supreme Court has said otherwise, ruling in 1869 that states can’t unilaterally secede from the union, as the Texas Tribune noted. Still, that same news outlet conceded in April that the secession debate is “getting kind of real,” while the Texas Nationalist Movement points out that no actual law exists that expressly forbids secession. As our friends across the pond proved Thursday, anything is possible. Read the full article below & google Texit. http://www.ibtimes.com/t...ve-us-texit-vote-2386446

They have been talking about seceding forever.Rick Perry told them it's impossible because Texas depends more on the government kitty more than it can pump to the Treasury . Should they seceded they will cash strapped . Iv heard Texans are a bunch of racist living there . When Obama became president the were talking of migrating to canada. They were the first state through their lower district court to challenge Obama executive order on immigration. They are a bunch of embiceles, primitive and over blown egos. Mcheeew
