A couple of things to contribute - 1) kenya has an ethnically charged history, thats a fact 2) kenya could have handled some of these historical 3) i don't think land is a historical injustice issue. I don't think MRC is a historical injustice issue. it just makes great fodder for people during divisive elections. people like drawing a dotted line from challenges experienced by young people to some historical thing. Wasapere hawaendi mahali and Mombasa itabaki kenya.
The truth is a large majority of people will cringe when they hear moses kuria speaking coz he is an anomaly - we don't express our ethnicity that blatantly in public. our ethnicity is not explicit! we don't decide to board a bus coz it's owned by your kinsman. We don't automatically consider personal property belonging to the kinsmen as "ours". There are people out there who actually do this! I have met people from other countries who when hearing people speak the language of another ethnic group - turn... look at these talkers... and really talk nasty things about this stranger.... in plain view of the other ones. people do really hate each other. A friend told me... that he will tell his son not to trust "those people". "those people will screw you". "don't be friends with them". this is a european who has been working internationally for like 16 years.
Our ethnicity will change... slowly but will change. it's all about people growing up together. watu wa mashambani ndio wanatusumbua saa hii. But kura ni yako... kura sio "yetu". just like chosing who to marry, the individual in question should use the metric he feels is important to measure suitability of a candidate/spouse. We just need to socialise people on what these metrics are and some will take time to instill I wish you could use the numbers you seem to be so obsessed about here. As always I have figures to support my assertions i have documented them on this websiteAll Mushrooms are edible! Some Mushroom are only edible ONCE!

But if @masukuma may not be able to do the mathematics involved who will? Maybe the problem in Kenya is that we may not be having competent mathematicians to help clarify our challenges.
