never say never. countries are like giant ships and their turning is not immediately noticeable. in the 1980s the UK intelligentsia through its leading publications like the economist trashed the chinese model and despised the country's growth. today the UK prime minister goes to china to beg for investment in his country.

one of the things to note is that Ethiopia is ruled with somewhat of an iron fist so 'freedoms' are curtailed

I understand that there is a treaty that stops Kenya from exploiting Lake Victoria waters for irrigation etc. I think Ms. Karua tried to get it repealed when she was water minister.

Now is the time for us to also do want we want, given that Egypt is kept busy with their domes. Ethiopia is doing just that.

How about we exploit the numerous rivers that drain into this lake for irrigation purposes?

1. We have a useless president who is full of grand plans and big talk with nothing to back it up. The list is endless, Huduma centres, Uwezo fund, Laptops for school kids,Nyumba kumi initiative 1 million acres of farm land etc etc big talk with nothing to show in terms of progress
2. Our priorities are in the wrong place.
3. Blaming all our problems on Raila even when he is out of the country.

are you sure huduma is not working?

My wife has still not got her id card in married name. We have been married 15 years.

Huduma my foot! Guy should stick to his whiskey and leave the country alone.

Sisi Huku kupigana juu ya odm and tnu about IEBC . I told someone kenya will be the least developed of East African community .Uganda have oil, tanzania abundant minerals ,sudan oil, ethiopia progressing onwards ,Somalia once peace established it might be the next dubai because of long beaches . Kenya we take pride in chocho media mongering as people are moving forward .1st will end up to be last .

Ethiopia is also fighting basic things such as drought.
For those who have travelled outside Addis and probably past Adama towards AWASH region have seen people living in very poor conditions.
Even in Addis the level of un-employment might be higher than in Nairobi.
