Kariithi Murimi,a wazuan 'by spirit', He brilliantly spoke his mind whenever he discussed economic matters challenging the old thinking and status Quo in non partisan way.

I remember him saying " we need to be the Japanese, who are 1000 years dreamers.
..when you are in a new forest, its changing the monkeys that become the differentiator so that you do not finish the fruits.
....He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion..

I remember how he used to say "for every new shoe that I buy, another one must get out of my house" a true economist in both words and deeds.
Time is money, so money is time. Money saved is time gained in reverse! Money stores your life’s energy. You expend your energy, get paid money, and store that money for a future purchase made in a currency.
