This one of the reasons why airlines in Africa fails to prosper. true. atleast you know our dilemma not like @vvs who is a kizingiti @obiero suppose this crap fails to take off immediately after the announcement of reduced loss following disposal of core assets and landing slot at Heathrow airport, will you sell your current stock spontaneously to avert the catastrophe of capital erosion ? I'm in this to win it. only item that would make me consider sell off would be loss in excess of 7.5b H1 2016.2017 we shall see the long awaited profit. it's a guarantee that can only be disapproved by labor unrest or a catastrophe. wazua must note KQ as a high beta stock hence wild movements on share as well as bottom line KQ ABP 4.26

Heck, you told us that 2015-16 will be break-even at worst. Instead my gut tells me another loss is on its way! Greedy when others are fearful. “Therefore, we anticipate that the company will still report losses on their fuel derivatives at the end of this financial year 2016, due to the falling oil prices. After the expiry of the contracts, the airline is expected to position itself to benefit from the falling oil prices,” said the Genghis analysts. Old news. Now that the bet is on with @Obiero Treasury’s Sh10bn bailout loan delay stalls KQ layoffs http://www.businessdaily.../-/5m0p4hz/-/index.html
KQ should be put into bankruptcy. KQ wants a subsidized loan from GoK to pay off employees, some of who should be fired for incompetence and corruption. Why take a loan? Go into bankruptcy and lay them off. Greedy when others are fearful. Very fearful when others are greedy - to paraphrase Warren Buffett
