"Lower" eastern? is that not supposed to be "South Eastern"? South is now LOWER than North!!

I have always had a problem with Ukambani being referred to as lower eastern but it seems everyone is okay with that: media, politicians, etc

My problem is, the reference is not due to altitude(could be true that Ukambani is lower than all other areas in the former Eastern Province like Embu, Meru, Marsabit; nitaangalia baadaye kwa map) BUT due to its southern geographical location!

Now imagine someone reading about Cush in the bible which describes the kingdom as having been located in 'the upper Nile region'..

you know cush was actually "upper nile" - it was south of egypt but was high coz rivers flow from high to low and when compared to egypt... cush was "upper"

problem is that baba ana beba the other two, and at this point he is afraid to ditch them, but I think it would be better if he got rid of them

This is the heard of elephants in the room that CORD have consistently refused to acknowledge:

1. Kenyans are not in love with Jubilee - they are simply too scared of the alternative (Caroline Mutoko was right)

2. Kenyans have moved on from the politics of confrontation. They are into the politics of the stomach now. Baba is taking us where we came from.

3. If CORD wants to take power they have to ditch the captain. Raila is not electable as President. He is simply too divisive and scares most people. His most potent value is in the role of kingmaker

4. It is probably too late for CORD in 2017 - but it is not too late to start building an alternative credible government in waiting. CORD has wasted 4 years on incoherent, disjointed and reactive opposition to Jubilee. I hope they don't waste anymore

5. There is nothing preordained about the Uhuruto narrative that they will rule for 20 years. They can be beaten and most likely will, but not by the incompetent opposition we have now. Yet CORD seems to have bought into this Jubilee lie of invincibility. How else do you explain recent events?

CORD's fallout will be a disaster to this country. We need a strong opposition that will check the eating by the Jubilee govt.
If all of them are eating then we have a very big problem.
We need some noise makers that will reduce the eating or at least scare away the hyenas.

CORDs performance as the lead opposition has been a shambles.

The proposed Okoa Kenya referendum flopped because of their own disorganisation; other than press leaks they have not seriously challenged the government on corruption and tyranny of numbers is their excuse for mediocre showing in parliament.

Worst of all they labelled hate speech mongers 'political prisoners'.

How do you sell such a party as an alternative to the current government?

CORD mayn't be perfect but the idea of having everyone in the government is a detriment to the progress of the country we need a robust opposition, civil society and activist who will monitor the government and enhance accountability. If everyone is eating who will make noise about the thief?
