True

Jomo, moi, Kibaki, those are guys who worked hard and had to work around some very tricky situations, I would not call them opportunist, even kamwana considering what happened to him in 2002, though his has been a bit easy

Jomo spent his time in UK doing what? Moi was Njonjo's project,Kibaki was literally dragged out of KANU by Wanjui,Karume &co and for Uhuru we all know his story.
None of these was so hungry for top position.

But what makes so many people think Ruto can't be president without the Agikuyu votes?

What other community can support him apart from 70% kalenjin ,20% cushites, 10% coastal, 20% western 20% eastern ?? People don't trust him in short

Kiuks mention the word Kiuk alot more than I do. Why don't you ask them first?

I know.

But someone must point out accurate history whether people accept it or not.

In the 1960s, Kiambu mafia demonized Oginga Odinga and convinced all kiuks that Oginga was public enemy number one. As a result all kiuks hated Oginga. In reality Oginga was demonized because he accused Kenyatta of being a land grabber.

With Oginga locked up in detention and with kiuks hoodwinked about who their enemies were, the kikuyu elite proceeded to enrich themselves from public coffers and grab plum portions of land near Nairobi while the peasants were exiled to less valuable lands in Nyandarua and Nakuru.

Its funny how history is repeating itself today. Today the elites like Waiguru et al are llooting the treasury with wild abandon and all kiuks are convinced that RAO is public enemy #1

Why are you high on Kyuk this, Kyuk that? Why are your posts laced with tribal connotations? Don't you realize intelligence and foolishness are not mutually exclusive? Brick wall Brick wall Brick wall

The Onus is on you to prove him wrong. You can only tell your kids what to write and say, the rest you have no power over them. One is allowed to hold an opinion as long as this does not put others in an akward situation

I support kabogo on this. All he is asking is what is in it for his people for them to vote for WR. In 2012/3 WR did the same and came with similar demands and was promised and given 50% jubilee mkate and all the juicy parts of the swara e.g. ministry of finance, energy, agriculture etc. All kabogo is saying is that okuyos must be looked after well and must be assured of the deputy president position and all the lucrative ministries for them to offer their support. Just like WR and his people made similar demands and pushed ouru to the wall in 2012/13 and were rewarded. Do you expect WR to pick a non okuyo eg Ababu, Joho etc as DP and still expect okuyu support? Support is not automatic. You scratch my back, I scratch yours. The URP/TNA marriage must be cultivated. No mpangos 2017, 2022 and beyond.

what have "these people" gained from UK's presidency?

we shouldn't vote in our people just because someone from our tribe who doesnt even know about your existence will get appointed as a cabinet secretary! Do they share their salary with you or do you get a monthly stipend because your "people" are in power?

I guess hapa Kenya people still think having their person in charge of the ministry of finance EATING, is a good thing for the tribe .

I guess Its better to have waiguru eating instead of building good roads, hospitals na vinginevyo so that our roads are not always choking with traffic
and people don't come to wazua to cry about Kenyatta hospital.

Deputy President William Ruto visited former President Daniel arap Moi at his Kabarak home on Thursday, but failed to meet him.

Sources privy to the visit said the retired president could not meet Mr Ruto as he was undergoing a routine physiotherapy session with his doctors for the entire duration of the visit.

In my assessment, Ruto will be president in 2022 if he gets 70% of the Kikuyu votes if their turn-out is over 60%.

But of course it depends on whether Ruto made Uhuru president or Uhuru made Ruto deputy president, I'm sure you know what I mean.

BBI will solve it

Only justice can guarantee long term peace. But you opted to hug and make up and chased Bensouda away. And now you have to live in fear forever. Choices have consequences.
