The idea of out of parliament talks has merit. In this case 'we' should find a way of using both parliament and not parliament paths.

With no iota of shame.

Somehow babu believes he is winning this battle.....

Well time will tell.

The best government style for Kenya is a coalition government so that all tribes will not felt left out...like in Israel.
We need to go further beyond NUSU mkate to even an an EIGHT of a mkate.
This winner takes it all is what is causing all these pains since a coalition of two tribes will always rule the day and one big tribe has never voted for any other tribe; and apparently they appear wealthy though not entire.

hiyo ndiyo democracy. Huyu babu hata akicheza bunge itapitisha ile bill ya age Limit for the presidency!!

The courts have more or less ruled that one useful life is 70 Years. I think we need to cap the age of the occupant of the house on the hill. Otherwise we will have contenders who contradict themselves day in day out. The nominees should note this important consideration.

imagine, even for a moment, you're a coalition for riots and demonstrations supporter ..now, your leader has been asking you to come out to the streets since govt has refused to discuss IEBC. But now, from mainstream media, you're aware govt has agreed to discuss whatever concerns, even the committee members are ready. But your leader says, no, we are now not going to talk, we are going back to demonstrate the streets again, and he doesnt really tell you what the issue is, or you dont believe there is any justification. How thick would you be to go to the street?

Aren't we inadvertently giving credence to the slander that - the black man is White mans burden!
Quote:
On Saturday, US Ambassador Robert Godec reportedly led diplomats, the clergy and businesses in an early morning meeting with the Cord team of Siaya senator James Orengo, his Machakos counterpart Johnstone Muthama and Tongaren MP Eseli Simiyu.
The meeting with Cord, the Sunday Nation learnt, lasted almost six hours as the diplomats and religious leaders tried to persuade the opposition to call off Monday’s demonstrations to create a conducive atmosphere for talks.
Saturday’s meeting was a follow-up of another meeting Mr Godec and his team held with the Cord negotiators on Friday, which was adjourned to enable Mr Orengo and his team to brief Cord principals Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka and Moses Wetang’ula.
Mr Muthama met the US ambassador at Bruce House, Nairobi, on Friday and only curtly told the Sunday Nation: “We are on the right track, that’s all I can say.”
Mr Muthama had earlier met British High Commissioner Nic Hailey and religious leaders at the private offices of Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka in Karen, Nairobi.

Quote:
The diplomats led by Mr Godec and his British counterpart Mr Hailey used subtle threats to push the two coalitions to the negotiating table. A source who has attended most of the meetings said the diplomats alluded to travel bans for hardline politicians as a weapon of last resort.

That they couldn't manage to meet with RAO says a lot.
