I wonder how Ruto plans to play his cards come 2022.

Has to be the biggest headache of Kenya politics. If I were Kalonzo, I wouldlet RAO go for the 2017 polls which is unwinable, sit back and wait to see where the chips fall come 2022. He has a sizeable following to atleast get DP again.

The same kalonzo who was stabbed in the back is now being asked eti ajipange. And ruto knows fully well that centro people have never voted for anyone outside centro and have no plans to start doing so.

Ruto knows he will never rise to presidency. His goal is to loot the treasury as much as he can and grab as much land as he can between now and 2022. By 2022 he will be wealthy enough to just ride off into the sunset and forget politics.
