PRESS CONFERENCE BY PRESIDENT UHURU KENYATTA AND DP WILLIAM RUTO

1.Article3,1 goes on to say that we all have a duty to defend and protect the constitution.

2.It is in this spirit of these civic duties that I held talks with religious leaders and speakers Justin Muturi & Ekwe Ethuro.

3.We resolved to do the following-)That all stakeholders from both sides form a joint select parliamentary committee.

4.We expect other initiatives to harmonise their work with the framework of this joint select committee.

5.I will have a joint Parliamentary group meeting tomorrow with Jubilee members to agree on the membership of the party in the committee.

6.Dialogue is welcome, but within the framework of the constitution.

7.We hope our friends from Cord will bring forth their members who will be part of the select committee.

Raila will most likely hear or read none of this…

I also think so since he was not consulted. Again, CORD had already puuled out it's members from various Parliament committees. This JSC isn't any different since Babu cannot participate unless he does so as Raiya. I just wish he announces going back to the streets at least twice a week starting next week.smile
Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.
