2009 -
During the Extra-Ordinary Meeting of the shareholders of the Bank held on 30th September 2009 at the Kenyatta
International Conference Centre (KICC), the shareholders resolved;
• To split the Bank’s shares from a par value of Five Kenya Shillings each(5/-) to a par value of Two Kenya
Shillings each (2/-) which therefore increased the number of shares held by two and a half times;
• To increase the Bank’s share capital from Five Hundred Million Kenya Shillings (500,000,000/-) to One
Billion Kenya Shillings (1,000,000,000/-);
• To approve a rights issue of shares to the shareholders of the Bank prorata to their shareholding.

2014 - It’s a go for Family Bank rights issue as shareholders give their nod;proceeds to fund the expansion agenda and other critical projects

And now 2016 all on expansion. Surely there should be other ways to raise money.

This bank needs to be investigated.Last year they issued a corporate bond where they raised ksh.2.2bn.
Now a rights issue after a similar one two years ago.
I think some of the rights money is being used to cover up something.

Looking at their figures from the Abridged I.M. They actually have utilized the funds well considering the 2013 1:1 Bonus and 2014 1:1 split

Are their listing plans still on or they abandoned the idea.
