Was the settlement of 4.6 billion(excluding interest and damages i presume)by KPC paid?

smile kpc is carrying out very capital intensive projects I don't know whether they can afford even if they are ordered to pay.case bado amuliwa lakini

Bear is struggling to strangle the price down.

This is the problem with the big boys. They always sabotage attempted feast.

I have noted on several occasions instead of the big trades attracting a discounted price they are sold at a higher price. now one block of over 2m at 10.75

Big blocks are done by long term investors. They don't care about higher prices.

Defending the 10 handle. Open 10.10 closing 10.75. If it fails next support level is 9.00

I see this coming to pass. It slices past 10 so easily going down. Below 9.00 I turn buyer again.

if it doesn't happen this month as we close the first half expect stability in july as we wait for results and an interim dividend

What do you mean by "They had a blinder in April as well."?

OTS is definitely opportunistic (& profitable) rather than trying to compete with GAPCO. Now that KK has their debt at 'reasonable' levels, both banks and traders (Glencore, Trafigura) will be happy to finance them thus setting up the stage for more aggressive OTS bidding.

Debt: I disagree. I think KK needs until Dec 2016 to eliminate debt as oil prices have risen to $50 from the $30 level since February when Ohana was gung-ho about zero debt.

Quality firm. Folks want large pieces of it. Foreign buyers aren't interested in small lots coz of the transaction costs per trade. IMHO, if Biwott & Family decide to sell out completely at 11 there will be tons of buyers lined up!

Remember this is a bear market, where rosy earnings mean nothing. Look at hfck growing 30% in Q1 best performer financially now comfortably below 20.00 a previous 1 year support.

If the bear continues, that's where kk is going.

i think the chances of an interim is 98% but we need some news now for the share to stay afloat
