You put people's lives in danger and come here and claim 'But for the gallant soldiers, to our brothers and sisters in Unifrorm, I Salute you'. Very useless, the lives of the dead soilders cannot be valued and compensated.

So did you want the CIC to be the one standing at the camp entrance guarding the soldiers? A soldier serving deep in Alkabab land knows the risks he is facing and the action he should take to stay alive deep in enemy territory. That is why they are given weapons and equipment superior to the enemy. With all those captured kdf weapons i saw on that video how can you say they were underequiped? How could their lives have been "put in danger" with all those weapons and armoured vehicles that I saw kwa that video? Infact they were much much overequipped compared to kebabs.

No equipment in this world can defeat self belief and will to fight!

Kenya covers up military massacre at El Adde Kenya's largest military defeat since its independence in 1963.

Quote:
Their families remember them by name as soldiers, sons, husbands, and fathers. But to the country they served, they remain only uncounted and unknown.

What is their interest in this. We have never queried how many of their soldiers have died in combat the world over. Let them not bring for us........

KDF should not release any details about the attack. That would be another propaganda victory for Al Shaitan.

However this is the paragraph from that CNN article that Kenyans should pay attention to.

Quote:
The apparent ease with which the militants breached barriers at El Adde has surprised many security analysts -- especially since the same style of assault had been seen before in bloody attacks on AMISOM forces.
One Western diplomat based in the Somali capital, Mogadishu, told CNN this was clearly a "tactical disaster" for the Kenyans.
"How can two hundred Al-Shabaab walk across a field in broad daylight without the Kenyans noticing? Where were the KDF's machine guns?" he asked. "This is contrary to everything they have been taught, and should be doing in a hostile environment."

The phrase tactical disaster is very apt. I said as much above. KDF is very corrupt and they have been promoting the wrong people for years. In a civilized country, a thorough investigation would happen and heads would roll.
- Firstly whose bright idea was it to set up camp in a wide open space like El Adde?
- Secondly why oh why was the camp so poorly defended?
- And most importantly, how come KDF never applied lessons from previous attacks on Amisom troops?

Unfortunately Kenyans don't demand accountability from anyone.
