The fault-lines of political divide continue to manifest on this thread.

A few pointers in my view.

JJ was no Angel. It is possible that his less than clean business dealings could have caused his murder.
But again given the mystery surrounding his whole matter, the Police reaction and explanations seem to suggest elimination by persons with higher-up connections.

Obviously, Politicians as is wont of them want to milk this for maximum political advantage.

Reading today's dailies on how JJ (RIP) made his money....one is left to wonder whether he made his money genuinely. Talk of a paradox!! I'm also at loss to believe he had the moral ground to talk leave alone advocate matters corruption.

When two thieves talk, one of them is telling the truth. The issue of if they have authority to speak is a non-issue.

In fact, if you want to carry that as an argument, please don't forget to look at your current political leaders. Do they have the moral authority to talk about corruption and changing Kenyan when they themselves have stolen?

Keep your arguments honest.

The issues is someone killed him. You should be advocating for the killers to be found. Otherwise, you will end up like him. Obviously his killers were also his friends.

So don't think your current friends aren't reading this and decide to off you later when you aren't friends. After all, you support such stuff happening.

Word.

@alma, this thread agreed long time ago...that the investigations be carried out and killers brought to book. But we need to interrogate the life and times of this man from the village who became a millionaire in ten years while @alma with his 50years he is still struggling to make ends meet!!

Why didn't you interrogate while he was still alive? How are you going to get that info when the source is dead.

Tuache sideshows!

@Swenani you have hit the nail on the head.

Jacob Juma is dead. Like really dead. Like shot in the head or chest depending on who's report you wanna believe.

Risasi, let's interrogate one person in this government with the same vigor, shall we? Pick one. They are alive so we can actually make a difference.

This is those hashtags that were just created for the sake of sanitizing an evil deed by evil people. (Probably his friends or former friends or those who thought he was tweeting noisily).

If we say he was evil, its easy to turn our eyes away from the evil people still walking around. These fellows are actually watching this thread and wondering who among these fellas is next?

Risasi why don't we interrogate the kind of mental pain the killers of a human being can possibly be going through right now.

That serves the living more than the dead.

But that's just my opinion.

@alma the emphasis you make on such brutal acts being carried out by business rivals, former or current friends is scary!I know people are different but, i mean, is it ever that serious?? so serious to the point of taking another man's life? I refuse to believe that! Considering all this is vanity and we shall all die, the thought of mere mortals deciding to play God and scheming on how to eliminate another man and actually doing it pains me. Personally, @kabetes and Muchai's executions troubled my soul. Mostly because i still dont understand why someone can do that to another. Is there really any satisfaction to it? I highly doubt. This may sound naive, but does this mean that after his demise someone somewhere is sleeping more comfortably at night? that someones problems on earth are finally over?
I wonder what the contract killers do with the money they are paid. Perhaps they drink it all away as they try to block any flashbacks of their actions. Or perhaps they dont. I just pray that the blood money isnt used to pay school fees for a kid somewhere.Sad

Don't worry about their kids and school fees. We all know what type of kids they normally have. The kids pay them in kind. Life is a strange thing.
Thieves are not good people. Tumeelewana?

Its not slander, they have been paid.

Mimi hushangaa how much people are paid to be sycophants to the extent of celebrating people's death.

I'm stating here without fear of ever contradicting that

I thought Kibaki was being mean sometimes when he called people Pumbavu but surely how else would you describe this man. The helicopter even came down so that the idiot could jump off safely(putting not just the people on the ground but all on board in danger). The pilot had no other choice but to keep flying. Pumbavu deserves what he got.

I was at Bungoma Uchumi picking items on our way with friends and here is my witness. As we are paying for our stuff, here comes Khawale on the back of men. He stops at the gate Bungoma teachers and as he is lowered, he offers 7k. His entourage accesses the place for lunch and refreshments. The silly crowd walks away, with nothing.....they are happy. I do not know what to call that kind of stupidity.... Inapita!
