I hope you guys are OK. What is the mood on the ground about Britain leaving the EU? Will it stay or will it leave?

I think the West is changing in a very dramatic way. Trump is the Republican party nominee for president on a platform of anti-immigration and Islamophobia. Britain is seriously considering leaving the EU primarily because of the effects of free movement of people within the EU. Anti immigrant sentiments are on the rise while at the same time London has a Pakistani mayor!!d'oh!

White people are feeling the heat, all this globalization that they spread around the world is coming back to bite them.

Wazuans in the US thought Jeb Bush was going to win the Republican nomination but he ended up amongst the first to drop out of the primaries.

Your analysis might just be as good as theirs.
sometimes biases get the better of us sublimally in our analysis.
My take - Britain will stay in EU.

Whether Britain leaves or not or Donald Trump is elected on not, there is a fundamental shift in sentiment in both America and Britain that will have far reaching consequences in the future for all immigrants and immigration policies. It is now clear that there is a significant portion of Americans and Britons who are deeply dissatisfied with their countries immigration policies and these countries being democracies these sentiments will be expressed in change of policy going forward. Its interesting how when you are in Kenya you think getting a UK or US Visa is too hard but the Americans and Britons seeing the flood of immigrants to their countries think getting visas is too easy.

What is happening is a fear of the inevitable. America is no longer as white as many would like it to be...its becoming more of a brown country with an explosion of Indians coming in because of the nature of jobs. Most white americans feel disenfranchised because these immigrants hold the moneyed jobs while traditional jobs go away. The reality will sink in.

It's becoming brown because of Mexicans and others from South and Central America. While Chuti's are many they are not being blames for the browning yet.

And that's the anger that drives trump supporters.he knows it that they are scared and that's why they are angry. Watching TV I saw one Mexican family having 4 kids running around , one on the supermarket carts and the other growing on her belly.so compare with a white family who most only have one kid or non and they tell you they chose to remain childless. What will happen in 20 yrs if this trend persists ?

This is the anger driving trump supporters.Fact is there is nothing they can do about it .it's a train that's moving and nothing can stop it unless they gas chamber all immigrants .This year elections huko America will be interesting

You are wrong. There is something they can do. And it's only Trump who has the answer. Even us here in Kenya we are closing Daadab and kicking refugees/immigrants out. Kenya for Kenyans. America for Americans. You know things are thick when you have a luo as the american president. But they shall overcome They will get their country back. #VoteTrump.
