Out of curiosity, what happened to McReggae - since RAO was hammered 2013?

Reliable sources indicate that he may have been fired for misleading Babu that he would win the 2013 contest with a landslide. A similar fate awaits JJ, he of Kabete constituency in 2017 for misleading Trumpamba that he is the most popular candidate and that he is championing democracy by digital methods such as banging of gates.

I just listened to a debate and it's clear that CORD wants something that is not even in law. They want IEBC reconstituted and political parties to have their mandarins at the helm. so a formula where a party picks a places whomever it wants and civil society/religious leaders pick the chair! Waaa!!! Beside it being a contravention of existing law... ile drama tutakuwa nayo!!!

That is why I was asking whether CORD has checked on the process of 'hiring' new commissioners.

the interesting thing is that this was being said by a member of parliament... who quotes the law and then says... I KNOW THE IEBC ACT SAYS.... I KNOW THE CONSTITUTION IN ARTICLE 250 SAYS.... HOWEVER!!.... at that moment i curled my eyes! A MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT?

With 176 registered political parties in kenya, and with each party having 1 nominee, does this mean that according to CORD the new commission should have at least 176 commissioners, and then you add nominees by civil society...

good luck making decisions in that kind of a setting! people will be texting to their higher ups to get confirmations and this will trickle down to the secretariat staff and pretty soon we will have chaos... how do I know that? I am dealing with that kind of setup right now!!

'Gameplan' is to create a crisis so big as to force a negotiated electoral law outside of existing provisions in katiba. The first step is to hound iebc out of office then hit the ground running....plate is full till Aug 2017
