So sad!...sure looks painful and gross. I hope now that the story is in the limelight, the boy will get some help. And this KNH doctors?after 8 yrs..they stil give the boy painkillers without even trying to find help form our developed neighbours globally?

Advice is what we ask for when we already know the answer but wish we didn't..

I agree, this is one kid who needs help. Its scary enough
to imagine your own child in that situation. The thing is threatening to engulf the poor boy.

its caused by genetic defects that allow tumors to develop. there is no cure as of yet (anywhere in the world) all that can be offered for neurofibromatosis is cosmetic surgery and surgery to cut out large lesions. we can also rx complcations as they arise e.g. epilepsy.

seeing the lesions were probably present from birth it is most unlikely a primary cancer, though neurofibromatosis predisposes one to cancers.

before that dude comes back to attack me and KNH let me state i don't hold brief for them and i do not even work there.
