Longhorn HY 2016 net profit up 70%

Am in the same dilemma as Wanaberich i have been looking at that column loss/profit on the online account and am kitu -500K on the counter.I was also doing my calculations and see if i can participate in the rights.I only got some dividends before the shares fell but am going to participate in the rights and wait for the rise.Hope i will not get a beating like HFCK with their rights @30 and the prices fell to 20.

500k is alot of cash. how much did you buy at? I think Rights will help in breaking even
Money comes and goes. When you have it enjoy it.

With only 2000 shares this guys are crediting my cds with 1725 rights,and i will tell them No thank you! !!meanwhile mr.market is offering the shares at the rights price.

this stock gave me emotional rollacosta. all the way from 9/=. bailed out at 6.5/=. have 2000 pending and for the first time my itrader got credited with some rights. am letting this rolling stone pass least i be crashed.

I exited at 30.75 the first lot and the second one at 11.70 after the bonus issue. I will consider getting back below the rights price after the rights because the big guy (DJ CK) has pumped in a lot money and cant let his fortune go down the drain.

Longhorn Publishers raised Sh533 million from the sale of new rights issued in its just concluded issue. This was largely boosted by Centum Investments who took rights worth Sh. 390 million. This saw the publisher’s rights issue get oversubscribed by 101 per cent.
“Longhorn Publishers offered 126 million newly created shares to existing shareholders at a rate of 0.86 shares for every share held, with a target to raise Sh530 million,” Longhorn announced.
Longhorn will use up to Sh80 million in regional expansion, Sh100 million towards product diversification, and another Sh100 million earmarked to retire current debt obligations.
The new shares will commence trading on the Nairobi Securities Exchange on May 31.
