Don't know if this has already been reported elsewhere, but tucked away in a notice in the 26 February issue of the Kenya Gazette is a statement that Sky Broadband (K) and Wired Sky Technologies Ltd. have applied for ISP, cable provider and network facilitation provider licenses.
Could this be Rupert Murdoch's Sky Plc. (owners of Sky Broadband) looking for entry into Kenya to compete with Zuku, Safcom's black box etc.?
Or has someone simply 'stolen' the name?
