If one ascends to power, then the first to call is probably Machiavelli. Now what happens to Aung San Suu Kyi?

The lady Suu Kyi is the de facto head of state which is a credit to her skill as a politician.

She's done well, but she's being eaten alive. For one, count out the de facto.

The lady controls the presidency, parliament and is directly in charge of four powerful ministries. She is head of state in all but title.

If anyone is sweating then it is the army generals.
