HY EPS was down 77% from 1.45 to 0.32. Assuming H2 finishes as H1 that means EPS will be 0.64 (0.32x2). Current insurance sector PER is 8.6. But out of generosity let's give BRIT a PER of 10.

Share price = EPS x PER = 0.64 x 10 = KES 6.40.

Avoid the unnecessary noise and stay focused otherwise the market magicians will skin you alive!

I do not trust this company since that Rawat drama. It might no be transcentury bad, but there's something I just don't trust them. With NSE nose diving last year, so will their profits, maybe even loss like it FY 2011 bear

Plus revising the results.

Use real PER on your calculation based on Britam fundamentals. You have randomly picked a less value in a pure attempt to balkanize the fair value of this stock.

Tonite I'll get on these formulas including the industry average before I make a ruling. But for now stop balkanization and lets all maintain sobriety. I am on assignment folks.

Wazuans read for yourselves so that you can get indepth knowledge on how PE ratio is calculated. Do not rely on amateur presentations on this thread. I emphasis again read and read. Do not be misled by individuals seeking low entry through unjustified calculations without quoting the source of the metrics.

Golden rule: No ululating analysis is smarter than the market itself. Market machinery under sufficient conditions is uninterrupted by red herring opinions.

Until the EPS is released, we [except @Obiero] do not know what it is. Why don't you give us your mathematics?

We can compare @hisah vs @spikes on Britam.

And while at it @spikes, remember to keep pace with Britam's revisions of EPS.
Time is money, so money is time. Money saved is time gained in reverse! Money stores your life’s energy. You expend your energy, get paid money, and store that money for a future purchase made in a currency.
