Am now beginning to doubt this man, Ndii. After writing countless articles discrediting everything the govt is doing and finding people aren’t somewhat paying attention, he now comes up with this separatist proposal?

He wants to kill Kenya and divide it up into pieces. What kind of economics is this? At a time countries are amalgamating to form larger federations so as to reap the benefits? And how far can you sub-divide nation states to satisfy everybody's ego. Even the so called central Kenya for instance, is made of counties which do not always see eye to eye on some things…and even within counties you have divisions which also do not see eye to eye sometimes. You can go all the way to the ward level. If you go on and on, you'll see that the separatist economics Ndii is directing us towards will only satisfy egos when every household becomes a nation state. And even within households some people don’t see eye to eye.

And yet, in all probability, this kind of separation can't wont happen. Let them own up and say he had nothing else to write yet the space had to be filled up.
Kwani Nation don’t have editors to critic this kind of articles before they get published

But who says Nyanza and Kisumu + Western would need Nairobi or Mombasa to survive? Why would they need to visit the above places? There is an airport the last time i checked and its an international airport. They could as well use lake victoria to get to UG ama TZ and go about their business.I think the people who would suffer are coast since everything they consume comes from bara , apart from Oil which they consume and very minimal levels.

Well after all its just an article !

Oh please. There is no rule that says that if you are landlocked you are doomed to being poor. Most landlocked countries are poor for other reasons. Some are small, some have no resources and many are poorly governed.

You seem to have a simplistic worldview where everything is governed by 1 or 2 hard and fast rules. Real life is far more complex than that.

Even landlocked Zimbabwe when it was well governed had a robust economy with significant agricultural exports and a relatively high standard of living compared to Mozambique which has 2470 km of coastline and even Angola which was doing poorly at the time.

there is a reason majority of human beings live at the coast... landlocked nations are bound to struggle - they depend on the goodwill of the surrounding countries. it's expensive to move stuff across land and especially if you have belligerent neighbours. You need to deal with stuff that you can move over the wire like money e.t.c. let's face it - a landlocked country starts the race with a handicap. That is why we
just look at this list https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Landlocked_country and ask yourself - do you want to join this list? Moldova? Chad? Mali? Transnistria..... WTH is "Transnistria"?South Ossetia... huko ni wapi? ongeza fiefdom yako hapo... Nyanza.... Western Kenya....

It was not always landlocked. It's landlockedness is a fairly recent thing and plus it has a huge population and a friendly Djibouti to do it's bargaining. Its the largest of any landlocked nation by population - woe unto you if you find yourself Sudan-South Sudan. With your 6 million people...Utajuta...

Instead of bread and circuses, the masses are given topics to debate and deflate their wrath and frustration. Ndii should even be given a bonus.

Ndii makes a lot of economic sense. If you are producing more then more resources should be channeled towards your productivity.Right now the resources are distributed based on equality nonsense and therefore the counties that are producing more are being punished.
This will make every county to work hand and not just sit and wait for the resources of others. We cannot continue to punish those who work hard.

Do we have figures on which county produces what and how much?
