Museveni likes to play such mind games with Kenya where he says or does something then denies it even when the truth is blatantly obvious.

not sure the context but on the matter of "water is in uganda and the island is in kenya" - I remember actually watching that on TV and the next day I was like... ati the media is saying he said what? do you remember a joint team to do the verification? they went and had some issues like 2-3 weeks later? but the narrative that Museveni said Migingo is in kenya and the water around it is in Uganda has always been false.

Are you saying the video recording I posted above is doctored ?
Or represents someone other than museveni?

what I am saying is that the press/hogwash press have been misleading us... he said and I quote

"the island is in Kenya and the water is in Uganda" <-- which island? just because NTV put a header/title that said "Migingo row" does not mean that was what Museveni was talking about - I am willing to be disputed if we get the whole recording of the BBC interview. Museveni clarified in the video I posted that together with calling people "njaruos" he was talking about the suba islands and if we wanted we should listen to the whole interview instead of hearing "the island is in kenya" and assuming that "the island" is a synonym for Migingo.

The hog wash press is not new to agenda setting and the rest of us following like fools and yet those things happen in plain sight - I remember Kivuitu being asked "Do you believe Kibaki won FAIRLY" he said "I DON'T KNOW!" the press spun that to be - "Do you know who won?" and him answering "I don't know".... and that narrative has been in our heads

Masukuma why are the 2 islands on Kenyan side without occupants? What drove these guys to migingo and not ugingo or pyramid? Apart from fishing I am not aware of any other economic activity in migingo
The fish swim around migingo because of human waste emanating from there. If humans relocate the fish will follow.

sasa... how would I know?

Interesting question @Kysse.....look at all that land..lol

I think it was part of the larger island but human erosion caused that section to slowly drift away.Guys Woke up on an isolated island cramped island.
